Topic: Extending Help to your Opponents
Text: Romans 12:20-21

“If your enemy is hungry, feed them; if they are thirsty, give them something to drink, in doing this, you will heap burning coals on their head.  Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good”.
Jesus’ commands here are uneasy but possible with believers. Jesus expects that believers extend help to opponents by:
• Showing them kindness and compassion.
• Refraining from responding to evil
• Countering hostility with kindness.
• Committing to the greater good.
In obedience to the Holy Spirit, the believer can overcome evil with good; and can extend help to our opponents. God bless you. Amen!
