To ensure that the church continues to grow rapidly without losing the quality care and spiritual maturity of its members, the church instituted this Cell-Based Ministry programme in 2002.
Care Cells are small groups of people (between 5-15) which are intimately linked to the life of the church (Acts 2:46). These groups meet for the purpose of spiritual edification which overflows in the form of evangelistic outreach. Those in the cell groups are committed to participate in the functions of the local church and when new people outside the church are added to the group, they are also encouraged to become responsible, baptized members of Christ’s body. The cell group is never seen as an isolated gathering of believers who have replaced the role of the local church, but rather a meeting that represents the church no matter how few they are. At the moment, there are eleven geographically demarcated areas which make up 11 sections with over fifty cells.
