Text: Genesis19:1-13

The above text explains how Abram and Lot parted company. Lot chose the fertile plains adjoining Sodom and settled there.  The people in the city of Sodom were pervasively wicked and so suffered God’s judgement.
Living in Sodom predisposed Lot and his family to the dangers of sin and its consequences. They may have been affected in the following ways:
• Compromise and conformity
• Loss of faith due to pervasive sinful environment
Today, sin is visibly pervasive in all cities worldwide. As such, believers desiring to walk with God should prioritize righteousness and moral purity as our daily lifestyles.
