Text: Matthew 28:18-20

"All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and...."  The passage quoted shows that Jesus Christ has been given all authority in heaven and earth. On that basis, he instructs us to go. This means he is the source of the authority that we should go with. Go, therefore, means ... as a result of the statement before, that is, "all authority in heaven and earth has been given to me." God is the ultimate source of power and has given all authority in heaven and earth to our Lord Jesus Christ. We are backed by the power of God Almighty. There is no fear.
